CAFCO-BOARD TM is an asbestos free, rigid, mineral wool board which provides fire resistance for columns, beams, joists and floor/ceiling and roof assemblies in commercial and industrial construction. CAFCO-BOARD is applied directly to surfaces by impaling over clips or weld pins. Typically provided unfaced, CAFCO-BOARD can also be supplied with Foil Scrim Kraft (FSK), or All Service Jacket (ASJ) facings to improve the durability and/or aesthetic appearance of the finished surface.
