Group Metering is a service entrance product line that consists of a main device and multiple meter sockets in one enclosure or several connected enclosures. Group metering allows the customer to install a multiple tenant-metering device in one location while providing a space and installation cost savings. Eaton’s Cutler-Hammer offers two Group Metering designs which are All-In-One Metering and Modular Metering.

Mini Power Centres: Application Description A Mini Power Center combines three individual components into one NEMA Type 3R enclosure: a main breaker, an encapsulated single-phase (Type EP) or three-phase (EPT) Dry-Type Trans-former, and a secondary distribution loadcenter with main breaker. Inter-connecting wiring is completed at the factory. Mini Power Centers are used wherever there is a 480V or 600V distribution system and loads requiring 208Y/120V, three-phase or 120/240V single-phase.

Residential Street Lighting Panels: Over the past several years, several Canadian jurisdictions have introduced regulations requiring all street and roadway lighting to be service entrance approved. Eaton has developed several products to meet this application at various installation points. The FIRE-GUARD™ Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) is a residential circuit breaker with an integrated processor which recognizes the unique current and/or voltage signatures associated with arcing faults, and acts to interrupt the circuit to reduce the likelihood of an electrical fire. With the Cutler-Hammer FIRE-GUARD AFCI, protection from arcing faults is combined with conventional thermal and magnetic overloads as found in standard residential circuit breakers protecting wiring from excessive heat or damage due to overloading or short circuits. FIRE-GUARD AFCI can also be equipped with 5 mA ground fault protection to protect from personal shock hazards. Now, there is a residential circuit breaker that provides protection from arcing faults, conductor damage due to thermal overloads and short circuits, as well as 5 mA ground fault protection in one integrated design.

Power Factor Correction and Harmonic Mitigation: Eaton's Electrical Group products for Power Factor Correction and Harmonic Mitigation correct poor power factor, thereby reducing or eliminating penalties charged by the utility; increase load capacity; and regulate voltage.Cutler-Hammer Power Factor Correction Capacitor Banks and Passive Harmonic Filters are available in a wide array of applications, from 240 V AC-115 kV and kvar ratings of 1-15,000.Because each facility is different and has its unique needs, Eaton's Electrical Group can custom design the most appropriate solution that will help you safely reduce energy consumption and diminish or even eliminate power factor penalties. Loadcentres are enclosed assemblies used for power distribution and circuit protection in residential and light commercial applications.The assembly consists of a box, an interior assembly and a trim. Incoming power is terminated at main lugs or a main circuit breaker. Load circuit protection is provided by molded case circuit breakers. Used on services providing no more than 240 VAC, and are available with bus rated from 70 to 400 amperes.Loadcentre covers are available as combination surface/flush trims.
