Gyp-Crete 2000®/3.2K gypsum floor underlayment is engineered to deliver compressive strengths between up to 3,200 psi (22.1 MPa), also delivering enhanced resistance to surface abrasions and even faster drying time. It's ideal for use over wood or concrete subfloors in single-family, light commercial, and multifamily construction, as well as renovation projects. Its crack-resistant surface provides a perfect base for practically any floor convering. Now offered in a ""Green"" formulation, Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2K is an ideal gypsum floor underlayment for sustainable building projects
More Information
Therma-Floor® is a gypsum underlayment designed to pour over hot water tubes or electric heating cables. It acts as the thermal mass for any radiant floor system. Therma-Floor encases the tubes or cables in crack resistant, noncombustible gypsum. Its special formula resists breakdown to 150ºF (66ºC). And because it's poured only 1-1/4"" (32 mm) thick, the heating system is more responsive and more comfortable. Now offered in a ""Green"" formulation, Therma-Floor is an ideal solution for sustainable building projects.

To smooth concrete slabs, precast planks, or steel deck use Dura‑Cap®. It's formulated to cap rough, pitted, cracked and out-of-level concrete. In renovation projects, it can be poured directly over old tile and adhesive residue. Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2K and Dura‑Cap can also be used over a special encapsulant to abate vinyl asbestos tile. Consult your Maxxon dealer for more details on this safe and extremely cost-effective method of abatement. Now offered in a ""Green"" formulation, Dura‑Cap is an ideal solution for sustainable building projects.

Fast drying Commercial Topping® pours from a featheredge to 3"" (76 mm) in new construction or renovation projects. With compressive strengths of 4,000 psi (27.4 MPa) to 4,500 psi (31 MPa), it's the ideal underlayment to meet ASTM F 710, Preparing Concrete to Receive Resilient Flooring. It pours over VAT, VCT, terazzo or ceramic, with no shotblasting required. For the ultimate strong, smooth finish over concrete, precast, steel deck, wood frame, and old cracked lightweight concrete, specify Commercial Topping. Now offered in a ""Green"" formulation, Commercial Topping is an ideal solution for sustainable building projects.

Level-Right®, a ""Green"" building material, is a self-leveling, cementitious product designed for thin-capping concrete - even over old floor goods, adhesive residue and wood subfloors. Better yet, there's usually no shotblasting or scarifying required. With compressive strengths up to 5,500 psi (38 MPa), Level-Right is the perfect solution for problem floors in large projects or for small repair jobs.

A breakthrough in sound control technology, Acousti‑Mat® II is the cost-effective solution to ""noise"" complaints, even with ceramic and wood floors. Its core of fused entangle filaments, attached to a non-woven fabric, creates a void area between the subfloor and a high-strength Maxxon® underlayment. The low 1/4"" profile of Acousti-Mat II allows a thinner floating floor composite and is a cost-effective choice for both new floors and retrofit where floor height is a concern. It increases IIC levels up to 10 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. It also increases the STC rating 6-15 points over a bare wood frame system.Acousti-Mat II is always ""Green"" with 40% pre-consumer recycled content. It also has water resistant fabric.

Enkasonic® creates sound-rated floors with the high IIC and STC level required by ICBO, UBC and FHA for luxury developments. It is a durable and proven solution - the only mat that has been tested after 10 years of use. (Enkasonic retained 97% of original thickness, was as pliable as a new roll, and performed equally to a newly manufactured roll.) It increases IIC levels up to 12 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. It also increases the STC rating 6-15 points over a bare wood frame system.Enkasonic is always ""Green"" with 40% pre-consumer recycled content. It is also offered with optional water resistant fabric.

New Maxxon® CSM is a reinforcement product used in conjunction with Maxxon Underlayments for crack suppression. Conditions such as potential movement of the subfloor - which could cause ceramic tile or other hard surface floor goods to crack - have typically been handled by installing metal lath prior to the underlayment pour. Although lath is difficult to install and its cost has been rapidly increasing, there haven't been any reliable, more cost-effective options - until now.Quickly and easily installed, Maxxon CSM saves time and money. Its strong nylon fibers, containing 40% post-industrial recycled content, provide an excellent reinforcement for a variety of floor systems. Maxxon CSM consists of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments and a geotextile fabric bonded to one side.Maxxon CSM is a ""Green"" building material and can help contribute points towards LEED certification. Maxxon® DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) is a unique 2-component, moisture tolerant, high density, chemically enhanced epoxy product which prevents the passage of water vapor and moisture through concrete floors and walls on or below grade. Maxxon DPM eliminates delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings. Maxxon DPM also prevents capillary infiltration of oil or other chemicals from the ground and can be used to treat oil contaminated slabs.

Mer-KreteTM Fracture Guard 5000 is a one step mold resistant anti-fracture membrane composed of a modified latex elastomer that produces a monolithic surface. Its thin section (approx. 30 mils) and excellent elongation will inhibit the transferral of cracks from the substrate to the finished surface. The membrane is installed in a semi-fluid state and can be applied to any form or irregular shape.
