InLighten® Light Shelf reflects sunlight deep into the interior of a building by ""bouncing"" natural light up to the ceiling. Installed as an extension to a curtain wall, the assembled light shelf elements reduce requirements for perimeter artificial lighting, conserving electrical energy costs. InLighten® Light Shelf is composed of an extruded aluminum chassis system and lightweight Aluminum Composite Material panel surfaces. This offers great variety of stylization — it is available in a wide palette of colors, painted or anodized, fascia cap or a continuous ""rout and return"" panel, and for punch windows. InLighten® Light Shelf is economical, lightweight, easy to install and assemble, and easily integrates with other Kawneer products.
