MATERIAL WORLD

Material World returns to IIDEX after a great success in 2009.showcasing the latest new and sustainable materials from emerging Toronto, Canadian and international companies drawn from a wide range of non-traditional suppliers, regions and specialties.

The THINK:Material exhibit, curated by international materials consultant, Jim Salazar and the IIDEX team, will anchor the very popular Material World Pavilion at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. This dedicated area will showcase product innovation and cutting-edge materials including glass, metals, natural fibres, ceramic, coatings, textiles, polymers and wood. New this year is an expanded program including 100 companies.

Think:Material returns to IIDEX with an expanded format three main areas:

  • Inspirational new materials from international suppliers
  • A special section devoted to innovative materials available on the show floor.
  • As well a new feature will debut in Material world: YP Picks which is an exhibit materials featuring Yabu Pushelberg’s favourite material from there award winning projects.
  • Need a break? Then make sure to stop by the “Get Connected Lounge” located in Material World. This IIDEX exclusive features the Flyaway seating system from Arconas and leading fabric manufacturers who have joined forces to showcase the latest in public seating and fabrics, in a cool lounge area.

This year's conference program will also feature a seminar stream on new materials developed by Material Intelligence.
