Roll-A-Cover International: An Open & Closed Case for more Restaurant, Hotel, and Entertainment Profits

Bethany, CT  Roll-A-Cover International, the design/manufacturer of unique 'trackless retractable' enclosures for restaurants, hotels, spas and dozens of other applications keeps on 'Rolling'.

One of the firm's latest installation in New York City, The Strand Hotel tops off a period in which the company has added to an incredible 'rooftop run' of restaurants in the City. 'The Roll-A-Cover enclosure has dramatically impacted our restaurant business,' said John Taft, one of the developers of  The Strand Hotel. 'They did a great job in covering our rooftop bar and lounge. The rolling retractable system is both attractive and functional and has proven to be a great guest experience.' Taft concluded: 'New York's rooftop horizon has never looked so good, including the Strand's magnificent view of the Empire State Building. This installation is paying for itself already.'

Roll-A-Cover began its design production in the small CT town of Bethany where it still maintains its World Headquarters. And 'world' it is. The firm has received international acclaim for its unique innovative and unique enclosure products, designed by its President Michael P. Morris, Roll-A-Cover's founder and entrepreneur. 'Because our retractables are so unique,
affordable, and flexible, we continue to grow even though segments of the building and retrofit economy have been stagnant. In the food service, lodging, and entertainment industries, our products contribute substantially to the bottom line.'

“Roll-A-Covers are not an extravagance or a costly modification to an outdoor venue based on the quick return on investment in most cases. These unique products offer a practical way of Adding to restaurant and bar service hours in the comfort of otherwise wasted space. Dining customers can enjoy indoor or outdoor comfort and ambiance year-round, while  restaurants/hotel management can virtually calculate their ROI per square foot of enclosure.'

Roll-A-Cover designs custom trackless systems for a wide range of applications that include spas, swimming pools, sidewalk store fronts ... nightclubs and bars ... smoking lounges, banquet facilities ... skylights ... even rolling wall systems for offices and commercial properties.

'The applications are seemingly endless,' Morris commented. 'We custom design and manufacture all of our systems and install them with our own crews.' He concluded: 'Our customers see our systems as an ROI, not overhead. Trackless enclosures expand the useable square footage of facilities and extend usage during weather changes. They increase nighttime events, and rooftop dining among other business benefits. It's also an attractive way to reduce  excessive noise that occurs later in the evening … restaurants can maintain their clientele while  neighboring residents are comforted with lesser noise issues. “
